Writing Consultations
KU Edwards Campus has our own professional writing consultant offering in-person and virtual appointments.
A professional writing consultant has completed an advanced degree; in our case, our professional consultant has completed a PhD and is experienced in all kinds of writing, from personal statements to dissertations.

American Sign Language Tutoring
In-Person Appointments
Currently, in-person tutoring is offered for American Sign Language in Regents Center 125 on the Edwards Campus. Help is available by appointment or by dropping in to see if the tutor is available. Schedule an appointment to guarantee that the tutor will be available to help! You can attend appointments by yourself or bring a buddy to get help together.
Virtual Appointments
Our ASL tutor is also available for virtual tutoring appointments. Whether you are living and attending classes in Lawrence, you are unable to make it in to the Edwards Campus, or you live elsewhere in the world, get help with everything from handshape and non-manual markers to prosody and discourse!
Virtual Tutoring
Virtual tutoring provides even more opportunities for support from wherever you are! Unable to leave home but have an exam coming up? Are you an out-of-state student? We're here to help!
In additional to virtual American Sign Language, you have access to all of Wingspan's tutors. These tutors can help in over 60 course subjects. While they are formally assigned to specific courses, they can also help with questions about most things within their wheelhouse. For example, if you are in a Project Management course and need help navigating Excel, perhaps a business or accounting tutor can help!
