    The Pregnant and Parenting Resource Pantry provides essential products and clothing to parents and their young children free of charge.

  • Office of Civil Rights & Title IX

    Title IX and other protections afford rights to pregnant and parenting students and employees. Pregnant and parenting students must receive the same access to school programs, activities, and education opportunities that are available to other students.

  • Baby Grace

    Free resources for families with young children: Overland Park location. Different locations have different resources, from diapers, wipes, and clothing to toys and strollers and other supplies. If this location doesn't offer something you need, explore the other locations on the website.

  • DCF Childcare Assistance Program

    Child Care Assistance, also known as child care subsidy, is available for qualifying families who need help paying for child care costs.

Helpful Policies at the University of Kansas

  • Graduate Leave of Absence

    A leave of absence may be granted in extraordinary circumstances (e.g., cases of illness, disability, emergency, financial hardship, military leave) to pursue family responsibilities or to pursue full-time activities related to long-range professional goals.

  • KULC Academic Accommodation for New Parents

    Purpose: To enable graduate students who are new parents to maintain their student status and to facilitate their full participation in coursework, research, and clinical training.

    Purpose: To ensure the safety and well-being of minors participating in university-related programs or visiting our campuses.

  • Tuition and Fee Refund

    Purpose: This policy explains refunds that apply to tuition, course fees, required student and wellness fees, off-campus area fees, and Edwards Campus construction fees for students who withdraw from the University or reduce their enrollment.
